More information
Blue River has pale lavender blooms with crimson-edged petals. Its strong fragrance is characteristic of modern bluish roses. Flowers are borne in dense sprays, with twisted petals and a globular form, appearing singly or in clusters of 2–5, produced in large numbers on a dense, branching, vigorous plant. In dry, hot climates the flowers open slowly, shifting to silvery, grey, and purple tones.
Lilac flowers, darker purple at the petal edges, fade to pink with age. Blooms profusely. Medium-sized bush with glossy dark green foliage. The flowers are strongly fragrant and hold well when cut.
Large lilac flowers with rich magenta petal edges and a strong fragrance. Glossy foliage provides contrast. Blooms abundantly throughout summer. Prefers sun, good soil, and regular watering.
