The "Freelander" series comprises garden cut roses with a nostalgic flower form. A hybrid tea spray rose. Blooms are 8 cm across; at the start they are globular, double , lavender-lilac, and they open slowly. Outer petals display a pink margin. Flowers are borne in spray inflorescences; strongly wavy petals give the blooms a slightly crumpled aspect. Flowering is recurrent. Flowering stems reach 40–50 cm in length. In the vase, cut blooms last 8–10 days. Foliage is glossy, dark green, with strong disease resistance. The shrub reaches 70 cm in height and 50 cm in width. Hardy to Zone 6 (down to -18ºC).
