More information

The soft pink shadings of Blessed Child are indeed suggestive of infant loveliness and we are happy to present this rose in celebration of Christmas and the New Year. Through the name of this rose it is our intention to celebrate babies of all hues and the promise and joy they bring into our lives.

Blessed Child blooms frequently and prolifically and has a lovely fragrance that could remind one of baby powder freshly applied. We have classed it as a Shrub. We think that it is one of those roses that are easily controlled through pruning to stay at a modest height, but which in warmer climates, may grow to five or six feet. It stays to about three feet when planted in a larger pot and is suitable for growing as a patio rose. Foliage is healthy and rebloom prolific and frequent. This is a wonderful rose for a gift, the garden border, a pillar in a warm climate, or a patio pot.
