More information
This rose is among the taller spray roses. Each stem carries 5 to 30 flowers, dark red with magenta tones. Colour is unstable, varying with soil acidity and light, from deep purple to greyish purple. An optimal pH is 5.5 to 7.5. Although the blooms tend to fade, the plant requires plenty of sun. The shrub is upright and compact. Foliage is dark green, glossy, ovate, with finely serrated edges. Low light and high humidity increase susceptibility to PD. Blooming is prolonged, lasting from the beginning to the end of summer.
