Bingo Meidiland is a shrub suited to hedges, use as a groundcover rose, planting as a freestanding shrub on a lawn, and inclusion in a mixed border. Soft pink flowers show a small white eye and a cluster of golden stamens; sunlight through the petals contrasts with the dark green foliage. Blooms appear in large, airy clusters of 10–30 flowers on long shoots, followed later by small red fruits. The plant is densely prickled and produces new flowering shoots throughout the season. The foliage shows high disease resistance. ADR-certified in 1992 .
This rose suits those seeking the “wild” look of non-waved roses. Long, pointed, dense pink buds on this shrub open to simple, five-petalled flowers about 5 cm in diameter. The slightly cupped blooms are pink, with a small white eye and a cluster of pure yellow stamens at the center. The flowers are unscented, and large clusters persist from early summer until frost. In autumn, orange-red fruits may appear. Shoots are prickly, branched, and drooping, and are abundantly covered with shiny bright green foliage. The bush is compact and spreading, 90–120 cm in height and width. Suitable for flowerbeds, mixed borders, and shrub plantings; appropriate as a solitary plant or in groups. Can also be grown in a container. High disease resistance.
