Shrub with red, semi-mauve flowers (8–14 petals), darker in depth, a white center, and golden-yellow stamens. Flowers 6–7 cm in diameter, in large inflorescences. The bush is compact and very dense, with dark green, glossy foliage. Light fragrance. Gold Medal in Rome. Bronze medal.
