More information
A vigorous variety. The tall, high-centered blooms open deep yellow with golden and amber tones, and a hint of red in the bud. Within a couple of days they fade to a pale lemon color. Flowers are borne singly, sometimes in clusters, giving a floribunda-like effect. The long, sturdy stems suit cutting. Petals are susceptible to rain damage, but in favorable conditions performance is reliable. Foliage is dark, glossy, and disease resistant. The bush is tall; in hot climates it grows up to 2.5 m.
