More information

Fragrant, double flowers with a high-centered form, measuring 7–8 cm in diameter, closely resemble those of a hybrid tea rose. Belyanka produces these blooms profusely, covering strong, well-branched, well-foliated bushes. Dense, glossy, dark green foliage provides a backdrop for snow-white flowers that only occasionally develop a creamy tint. Each bloom carries 40–50 petals arranged to give the impression of a very full flower; the outer petals are slightly reflexed, forming a clear frame around the center. The high-centered stage on the plant is relatively brief because the flowers open quickly, but the large number of buds and blooms sustains a continuous decorative effect, so the Belyanka shrub reads as an all-white accent in plantings. This presentation is maintained as successive flowers replace those that have opened fully, preserving a consistent appearance. In addition to its ornamental traits, Belyanka shows high resistance to disease and frost. With its fragrance, abundant and continuous flowering, and high stability, Belyanka is suitable for group plantings and for use as a solitary specimen, as well as for landscaping along low walls and fences.
