Known in the UK as Suffolk (where it is particularly popular) and as Bassini in the rest of the world, this is a ground cover rose from Cordes. The flowers are bright red with white streaks in the center and bright yellow stamens. They appear in large clusters (usually 10–30 per cluster) on a compact plant. Flowering is abundant and prolonged until autumn, after which small red hips develop. The foliage is small, shiny, dark green. The variety is very resistant to disease, winter-hardy and hardy, suitable for planting in containers and along the edge of a border.
