More information

New introduction in the Nostalgic Roses series. Very full yellow blooms that fade to creamy yellow; fragrant; borne on long stems. Foliage is dark green, glossy, and shows disease resistance. Flowers are rain tolerant, the plant repeat-blooms abundantly, and it is winter hardy. Suitable for container cultivation.

In the Nostalgic Roses series, Tantau offers cultivars styled after traditional rural garden roses, with large, fragrant flowers. The German breeder developed them as an alternative to English roses. Barock has a pleasant but rather light fragrance. The rose blooms abundantly even in adverse weather. Densely double flowers in shades of yellow, apricot, and salmon tolerate rain well. The shrub reaches 1.5 metres in height. Clear green leaves are disease resistant.
