Flowers are bicoloured, pink-gold with a lemon-yellow reverse, large (about 12 cm in diameter), very double (about 40–46 petals), with a mild fragrance, borne singly or in clusters of up to three on long pedicels. Flowering is abundant, long-lasting, and occurs in repeated flushes throughout the season.
The plant is a floribunda rose, forming a short, compact bush up to about 50 cm tall, with dark green, glossy leaves. It is used for cutting and ornamental planting.
The variety was bred by Vera Nikolaevna Klimenko in the former USSR in 1959 and is a cross between ‘Karl Herbst’ and ‘Spek's Yellow’.
