Flowers are pale pink, with a deeper pink margin on the edges of the 17–25 petals and a yellow spot at the point of attachment. The blooms are lotus-shaped, may reveal a midrib when fully open, borne mostly singly on shoots, with strong fragrance. The foliage is medium green, matte.
