More information

Yellow blooms with a golden-yellow center, fading with age to nearly white, with 17–25 moderately waved petals and a ruffled form. The foliage is dark green and glossy.

The variety is named in honor of the French aviator and inventor Louis Blériot, the first pilot to fly across the English Channel in July 1909. Small double flowers in a saffron-yellow shade, with a light magnolia fragrance, become yellow-cream toward the end of flowering. The glossy foliage highlights the flowering trusses. Blooms once per season, with an extended flowering period.
