Bud dark red, goblet-shaped. Flowers bright red, classic high-centered form, large (15–16 cm), double, with a noticeable scent, opening slowly. The bushes are vigorous, spreading, up to 2 m high. The shoots are robust and sturdy. Leaves are large, dark green, wrinkled (rugosa-like), glossy, leathery. Spines are large and medium-sized, very dense. Flowering is abundant during the hottest period of summer. Grown for cutting. As cut flowers, they last in water for up to eight days. Used for creating voluminous rambatas and for single plantings. In autumn, young shoots are affected by powdery mildew.
