Grafinya (Astrid Gräfin von Hardenberg; synonyms: Black Caviar, Nuit de Chine, RT 97-150, TAN97150) is a shrub rose bred by Hans Jürgen Evers in Germany in 1997. It was introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 2001 under the name Astrid Gräfin von Hardenberg, and in Australia by Knight's Roses in 2012 under the name Black Caviar.
The flowers are large, about 10 cm in diameter, with a cupped, quartered, old-rose form. They are very double, with up to about 50 petals, and have a deep burgundy to claret-red color with purple tones, purple shading, and a lighter center. The fragrance is strong and includes honey, lemon, and vanilla notes. Blooming occurs in repeated flushes throughout the growing season.
The plant has an arching, bushy, somewhat lax growth habit, with dark green foliage. Typical height is 120–150 cm, and width is about 40 cm. It is used as a garden shrub. The recommended USDA hardiness range is approximately zones 6b to 9b. The variety is reported to be susceptible to mildew.
