More information

As Good As It Gets is a floribunda rose bred by Brad Jalbert in Canada in 2014. It was introduced in Canada in 2015 as 'Our Anniversary' and in Australia around 2016 as 'As Good As It Gets'. The blooms are deep pink and blackberry-colored, with color variation from plum red to red with plum-colored edges. Flowers have a strong citrus and lemon fragrance and average about 10 cm (4 inches) in diameter. They are medium-sized, very full with approximately 26–40 petals, borne in small clusters, and have a high-centered form with medium, pointed buds. The plant blooms prolifically in flushes throughout the season. The growth habit is medium, bushy, compact, and dense, with glossy, dark green, holly-like foliage. The shrub reaches 60 to 90 cm in height and 5 to 6 cm in width. It is suitable for USDA zones 6a and warmer and can be used for beds and borders, containers, exhibition, garden planting, hedges, landscape use, or as a specimen plant. It is drought-resistant, heat-tolerant, and noted as very resistant to disease, including blackspot and mildew.
