More information
Named for the French actress Arielle Dombasle, this Meilland rose is a low-growing, low-petaled variety with abundant repeat flowering. The blooms are orange, with a yellow center and yellow speckling across the orange petals; the reverse of the petals is also yellow. As the blooms age, the yellow tones fade and the overall color shifts to pink. The flowers are semi-double. They are produced singly or, more often, in small clusters of 5–7, sometimes more. The foliage is bright green and susceptible to black spot. The shoots are covered with strong thorns.
