More information
Apache rose bears bright orange flowers, the hue of ripe orange, which bloom abundantly on low, flat shrubs. Dense buds exhibit the classic Hybrid Tea form; petals are leathery, with small opaline red tinges at the tips. Buds open slowly, and the bloom develops into a medium-sized, rounded ball. The pointed, slightly raised petal tips give the open flower a distinctive appearance. The outermost petals show a more pronounced red-orange, shifting to deep orange toward the center. Bright green, matte foliage presents a color contrast with the blooms.
The variety is recommended for zone 7.
