In 1981, the 100th anniversary of the birth of Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova was commemorated. That same year, a rose was named in her honour—'Anna Pavlova' (HT, Peter Beales, 1981). The cultivar was bred by English breeder Peter Beales and falls within the Hybrid Tea group. Blooms are pale pink, full (26–40 petals), with an ancient form. Bush height is 100–120 cm, diameter up to 90 cm.
