More information
This hybrid tea rose maintains its form at the half‑open stage and when fully open. Blooms are orange, with a golden‑yellow reverse on the petals and a yellow central spot as the flowers open and reveal golden stamens. Some inner petals display yellow‑orange striping. With age, edges may take on salmon‑pink tones, while the overall color remains orange to apricot. Flowers are borne singly on long shoots and are suitable for cutting. The shrub is tall and vigorous, with large, dark green foliage. Flowering is not among the most abundant. It can be affected by disease in autumn, and rain damages the blooms; therefore, it performs better in dry, hot climates.
Buds are long and pointed. Flowers are bronze‑salmon, large (10–11 cm), double (20 petals), fragrant, formed in inflorescences, on sturdy pedicels. Leaves are leathery. Shrubs are vigorous and compact. Flowering abundant. Early variety. Winter‑hardy. Slight susceptibility to fungal diseases. For group plantings.
