More information

This new Paul Barden hybrid is placed within vintage gallicas in cultivation. The petals appear thin and almost transparent, yet the plant generally tolerates rainfall of any intensity under Northwest conditions. Flower life expectancy is from 10 days. It blooms once and at an early date. Flowering lasts up to 6 weeks. The fragrance profile is a mixture of fruit, a touch of aniseed, and sharp spices. Leaves are large, rounded, almost matte, with the lightest gloss. The plant is tolerant of semi-shady corners of the garden.
