Flowers crimson-red with dark burgundy velvet; diameter when fully open 10–11 cm; inflorescences of 3–10 flowers; double, 55–62 petals; center closed; petal edges rounded, wavy; fragrance weak. Foliage large, green, semi-glossy. Spines moderate, sloping downward. Shrubs upright, tall, 150 cm high and 70 cm wide. Flowering prolonged, repeat-blooming; from June to frost. Winter hardiness and disease resistance reported as good. Used in groups and single plantings.
