Modern Rose, hybrid tea "Alec's Red ®", Scotland, introduced by James Cocker & Sons in 1970, Usually is crimson in color, high-center (point) bloom shape, blooms 14 - 16 cm in size, has 1-3 buds per stem, repeat rebloom, has rich fragrance, the bush shape can be upright, 75 - 90 cm in height, 60 cm in width, suitable for USDA zone 5 from -29°C and above, strong resistance to rain, moderate resistance to black spot, strong resistance to mildew, good for cutting.

Bud dark red. Flowers cherry red, velvety, large, double (36–40 petals), fragrant, borne mainly singly on the shoots. Bushes upright, with matte, dark green foliage. Flowering is prolonged. Resistant to powdery mildew.
Rich, sweet fragrance. The variety forms a strong, disease-resistant bush with firm pedicels and produces abundant blooms with large flowers throughout the season. Flowers are rain tolerant and do not fade in colour. (D.G. Hessayon)
