More information

Robust, floriferous shrub with snow-white buds. Height 100–150 cm. (Meilland Catalogue 2004)

The debut of the cultivar Alba Meillandecor on the international stage brought a gold medal. Suitable for white gardens and combines well with other shrubs. The small double white flowers tolerate rain, remain neat, and resemble snowballs.

A low-growing rose that does not require special care: Alba Meidiland. Pure-white, double, cup-shaped flowers are small in diameter and bloom in large clusters. The first flush is very abundant, with continued flowering until autumn. The variety is hardy and disease-resistant, useful for filling space in a mixed border, and grows well in containers. The blooms are self-cleaning, so deadheading is unnecessary, and the shrub maintains a tidy appearance.

A landscape rose notable in full bloom. Ivory-colored buds open to white double flowers. The flowers are small and borne in clusters of 3–5. Flowering can be dense, often obscuring the foliage. The shrub grows quickly and is suitable for planting on a slope, from which it can hang down. On its own roots it produces many root suckers, so containment is required. Very disease-resistant.
