This variety exhibits a bright deep pink color, with round-shaped buds and deep, cup-shaped flowers with a strong fragrance. It produces upright, branching shoots. The foliage is dark green, and young shoots are red. The cultivar was selected for high disease resistance and the ability to re-bloom throughout the season. Named in honor of the Piedmont Garden Academy (Accademia Piemontese Del Giardino). Awarded “Most Fragrant Rose,” a silver medal in the category of b/g varieties, and “Most Beautiful Italian Rose” in Monza 2006, a gold medal in Geneva 2006, and “Most Fragrant Rose” in Baden-Baden 2006.
