Apricot to orange-apricot buds develop into double blooms that open quickly to reveal the stamens, which attract bees and insects. The flowers are 7 cm in diameter, semi-marginal, white at the center with varying shades of orange and apricot pink at the petal tips. They have a light fragrance. Flowering repeats from June until frost. The foliage is glossy, dark green. Upright bush, 120–150 cm tall.
